About Us
Mea Culpa means “my fault, my choice”. For us, it symbolizes bravely taking responsibility for every decision and its consequences. We believe that every choice has meaning and we embrace everything life brings. We carefully source natural, hand-woven fabrics directly from the historic Silk Road region in eastern Turkey. Each piece is made only once and carries a story unique to its owner.
As I set out with the dream of educating children and making a difference in their lives, I met my husband who had the same vision. Together, we founded the Mea Culpa brand, which represents our life story and the decisions we make responsibly. Our journey of self-development led us to explore the world and get to know new cultures. This journey inspires our designs that will make you feel special.
